Dale started in the land department of Union Oil Company of California in 1977, later moving to Conoco, Inc., also in Ventura, CA. He then worked in Alaska in the early 80’s, followed by time in Houston working the Gulf of Mexico. He returned to Ventura to manage the land department for Conoco’s West Coast offshore and Alaska group.
After several years with Venoco, Inc. in Santa Barbara and Royale Energy, Inc. in San Diego, Dale returned to Alaska in 2005 with Pioneer Natural Resources Alaska, Inc., now Caelus Energy Alaska, LLC. As manager of Land and External Affairs he oversees permitting and regulatory matters as well as transactional issues and stakeholder relations.
Dale enjoys beach volleyball, scuba diving, traveling and reading.
